Consultation and Engagement

Rey Resources has conducted a significant program of stakeholder consultation to date, and has entered into formal negotiations towards a Native Title Agreement with the Nyikina Mangala Traditional Owners. This program of stakeholder consultation is ongoing and the company looks forward to continuing its engagement and open dialogue with interested parties, including during the environmental approval process.
The company is actively involved in helping support responsible resource development through a number of avenues including the State Government’s Kimberley Science and Conservation Strategy preparation process and the Federal Government’s National Heritage Listing process.
The company is also an active industry group participant through its membership of the Australia China Business Council, Chamber of Minerals and Energy of Western Australia and the Association of Mining and Exploration Companies.
In recent years Rey Resources has participated with government, traditional owners, local Indigenous communities, pastoralists and the local community and other interested groups to contribute to responsible resource development in the Canning Basin region.
